I was just checking out some of the listings on www.smstoday.co.uk, it's time to refresh my 'This Week We Like' feature on the home page. I came across www.smsprank.com, thought I'd see what SMS gateway they were using to send the SMS texts to the unlucky recipient, how much they charged and whether there was some form of SMS spam scam in operation.
Turns out, there's is no SMS gateway, there is no charge and there is no SMS spam/scam in operation. It's simply one of the most basic and funniest SMS text sites I've seen in quite a while...
Essentially, it's just a large database of funny SMS text messages that you can send to your friends. No, there's no web form connected to an SMS text gateway, you just find a funny text message you like and type it into your mobile the old fashioned way.
There's 20 categories to choose from, so if you're looking to send a freind a funny text, you'll need look no further than www.smsprank.com.
I'm not sure the domain name they're using is ideal, because I went there expecting some reverse billing scam, but I'm just scepticle I guess. Anyway, take a look, I guarantee you a laugh.
