TxtLocal.com, a leading provider of commercial SMS text services in the UK, has carried off the accolade of ‘Best Local Business’ in a competition judged by Dragons’ Den business guru Theo Paphitis. Sponsored by UPS, the competition has been organized by local radio stations across the UK, with TxtLocal winning in the Radio Wyvern region.
Said Darren Daws, of TxtLocal: “The purpose of the competition was to recognize local businesses that deliver that little bit extra to their customers and community. It’s a real coup to have someone of Theo Paphitis’s standing pick us out as a winner, and we are absolutely delighted.
“We provide a full range of SMS text marketing solutions for businesses wishing to communicate with their customers. They can use our services to send texts to their customers within minutes or generate leads or income through using a short code. Whilst we have many blue chip clients, a lot of our customers are smaller companies and organizations within the community. SMS messaging is a fantastic way for local businesses and community groups to reach their audience in a highly targeted way.”
Concluded Darren “We believe that we are supplying services that really deliver and benefit the local economy at the same time. So, it seems, does Mr Paphitis!”
TxtLocal won a free radio advertising campaign as its prize, courtesy of Radio Wyvern.
